Newborn Session filled with kisses and hongis :)

Just the other day, one of my friends asked me why I love my work so much and that got me thinking. One of the biggest reason is of course my love for kids, actually it is the main reason I moved from being a wedding photographer to becoming a family and baby photographer.

But one of the other reasons is also the fact that thanks to my work I get to meet so many lovely people, have such interesting conversations, learn about different cultures and also in this process, end up making friends with families that I work with 💕

This sweet family told me so much about their Maori culture and about the hongi, a traditional greeting where two people press their noses and foreheads together. The family was so keen for me to capture natural moments of them and also to incorporate some of the elements of their culture like the hongi in their maternity session as well as the newborn session! :)

So happy with how these turned out 🤍
