Hot air balloon themed Cake Smash

We were all set to do an outdoor family portrait + cake smash session for Little Mr. V, when the COVID rules in Singapore suddenly changed. I got a message from V’s mom as soon as the restrictions were announced and this meant that we had to change the outdoor session to indoors, just a couple of days before the session was planned.

There was a bit of panic since a lot of my shoots got impacted and I struggled to finish assignments before the new rules kicked in! For V’s cake smash, we decided on a blue and purple colour hot air balloon theme and I had to do some last minute planning.

I also like to customise elements of the shoot but given how last minute this was, I stayed up till late the night before the shoot, painting the props, customising elements of the shoot!
